Black Rock Sands
Backed by dunes, Black Rock Sands is a beautiful sandy beach stretching for around 2 miles. Unusually, you can drive onto the beach for a small fee which is very convenient, particularly if you have small children. There are plenty of rockpools to explore here as well as some interesting caverns. A wonderplace place to spend a summers days. Dogs: Allowed, although there is a dog-free zone.

Harlech Beach
Harlech Beach is a four-mile stretch of pristine golden sand, with stunning views of the Snowdonia mountain range. During the summer months leatherback turtles migrate from warmer climes to feed off jellyfish in the waters off this part of the coast.
A small section of beach immediately in front of the holiday park has a dog ban between April 1st and September 30th but the rest of the beach is dog-friendly year round.

Barmouth Beach
Barmouth is southern Snowdonia's most popular seaside resort. The beach is a mixture of sand and some fine shingle and is ideal for bathing and watersports. There are some breathtaking views of Cardigan Bay and the picturesque harbour.
The little town of Barmouth manages to retain much of its traditional seaside charm with pursuits such as donkey rides, swing boats, and amusement arcades all on offer. In keeping there is a pleasant promenade skirts Barmouth Beach and during the summer months a land train runs along it. Old fashioned seaside pursuits such as donkey rides, swing boats, and amusement arcades are also popular at this beach.
